This is the program for families who want the full transformation. Not just a dog who listens sometimes, but one who can actually handle life with you. Whether you're walking in the neighborhood, hanging out at a brewery, or hosting guests at home, your dog will have the structure and skills to fit right in​

During this 3-week stay, your dog lives and trains in my home alongside my real life family. (my toddler, dog, husband, chickens - yep, its a party). They'll learn calm confidence, how to self-regulate, and how to respond to your guidance the first time.

Your dog will learn how to:

Walk calmly on a leash in many situations (no more pulling, zigging, zagging, or dragging you throught the subdivision)

Follow essential commands like Place, Sit, Down, Come, and Out - even with distractions

Be reliable off-leash with an e-collar (included in the program)

Greet people politely and stop the madness at the door

Settle around the house and actually relax​​

This 2-week stay is designed for the dog who is mostly sweet, but whose manners needs major work. If you're tired of yelling frantically while your dog surfs the counters or launches off your couch like a missle - this is your fix.​

This program focuses on daily routines in and around the home. Think: calmer greetings, better boundaries, and actually having a dog that can chill while you fold laundry or wrangle the kids.

If your dog is barking, lunging, freezing, panicking, or shuttnig down in the world around them...this is not about quick fixes. It's about unwinding the overwhelm and building a calmer, more confident version of your dog - step by step

During their extended stay, your dog will learn the same core skills from the 2 and 3 week programs, but with the space, repetition, and slow exposure they truly need to process it all
​
Think of this as both a reset and a reboot for their nervous system. Not just obedience, but nervous system regulation.

Inside the program, we'll focus on helping your dog learn calm as a skill through structured routines, build engagment and trust with gentle, layered exposures, and create reliable communication. They'll learn to shift from high alerto to low and relaxed and get to practice pressure-free socialization in a real family home. You'll leave with the tools and the timing to keep that momentum going. For sensitive dogs and the people who want to do right by them, this is the space they truly need.​

We cannot recommend Layne enough! We had our 9 month old puppy go through her 3 week stay and train program and the results have been nothing short of amazing. We loved our puppy before but can now LIVE with her and really enjoy our time and experience with her. Prior to bringing her to Layne, she would run away from us, ignore our commands almost entirely unless we offered treats, would bark uncontrollably, etc and after 3 weeks she not only responds to commands with ease and true intention but she has learned to self-calm and chill and seems so much happier. And because we can trust that she will listen we’ve had some amazing off leash walks, and have opened up areas of our home we previously had closed off to her. And we don’t have to worry about her stealing and chewing on everything! We were apprehensive about leaving her somewhere for 3 weeks but Layne made it so easy to trust her and the constant social media updates with our pup really helped us feel at ease and let us know what she was learning.
